Weddings

Marrying in church is a wonderful opportunity to show publicly and in perpetuity, the love you have for another. It is deeply personal and spiritual and it is only the beginning of the rest of your life! If you have been married before, this does not mean you can't marry again in church – do speak with the Rector.

As the national church (the CofE) the rules of who can and cannot marry are the law of the land and established by Parliament. If you are considering marrying in Guildford St Nicolas Parish Church, then click here. This link will set out the legalities and the table of fees for the day.

Of course, as well as the service, you may want our wonderful bells to be rung. Our tower will sing out the congregation as they leave – just ask when you speak with the Rector.

You may also want our professional choir to sing on your big day, too – again, just ask.

And then, there's flowers – again, our church flower team would be only too happy to help.
